PrimoHoagies is Headed to Denver

New Jersey-based PrimoHoagies is coming to Colorado with plans of five new franchise locations in the Denver area through 2022.

PrimoHoagies’ aggressive growth plan helped the sandwich franchise thrive during the COVID-19 pandemic with a 21% increase in sales. “This Colorado debut is just the beginning of a nationwide strategy to bring our signature hoagies to as many future fans as possible,” said PrimoHoagies Chief Executive Officer Nicholas Papanier Jr.

Hoagie chain to expand to Colorado with 5 locations

A New Jersey-based sandwich chain has announced plans to expand into Colorado.

PrimoHoagies said it has signed new franchise agreements to open five locations in Denver, part of a 18-restaurant expansion that also includes Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Originally founded in South Philadelphia in 1992, PrimoHoagies currently operates locations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, and South Carolina. PrimoHoagies began to franchise in 1999.

PrimoHoagies is adding four locations in the region

PrimoHoagies is adding four locations in the region: two in Stroudsburg, one in Warrington, and another in Hackettstown, N.J. The South Jersey-based chain started in Philadelphia in 1992, and its latest expansion takes it to the West for the first time, with five outlets planned in Denver. Primo touts its fresh bread, lean meats, aged cheeses, crisp produce and “secret” spices.

PrimoHoagies to Open

PrimoHoagies has signed 18 new franchise agreements to open locations across four states, including one in State College.

Established in South Philadelphia in 1992, PrimoHoagies has grown since it began to franchise in 1999. Franchises currently are operating in seven states — Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Gourmet sandwich chain headed to region as part of latest expansion

PrimoHoagies, a national restaurant chain that originated in Philadelphia in 1992, is coming to Florida after signing deals with franchisees in Gainesville, Tampa and the Villages.

The gourmet sandwich maker’s ambitious expansion will also see it establish new restaurants in Colorado, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, according to a news release. It also operates in Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina.

PrimoHoagies announces Gainesville location

PrimoHoagies plans to open a new store in Gainesville in 2022.

Established in South Philadelphia in 1992, the restaurant known for its gourmet hoagies with meats and cheeses piled high, announced Monday that it has signed 18 new franchise agreements to open locations across four states: Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

“For Gainesville, the projected opening is in early 2022,” said Katie Kring-Schreifels, with Power Brands Communications, which sent the announcement. “We are currently doing site tours and have a few locations in mind.”

PrimoHoagies and other new businesses coming to Arena Hub

Three new businesses will likely fill the space in the Arena Hub in Wilkes-Barre Twp. formerly occupied by Pier 1 Imports that closed last year after filing for bankruptcy.

PrimoHoagies announced it will open a new location at 395 Arena Hub Plaza in about 2,000 square feet of the space.
